My art comes out of compassion and gratitude. The ideal human existence is to center our identity inside us and the ego outside us, sadly most of us do it just the opposite. I explore this theme through my photographic art which is mostly of people, abstracts and nature.

Art is practiced for the soul, not for the wallet.

I don't make my photos to sell them, but cameras are expensive and it would be nice to make the hobby pay for itself, which it isn't at the moment. I know I will make far far more money if I spent the same time poking around on the stock market for example, so this isn't at all about the money.

The experience of setting up the art store taught me something else about art - "wait, this is all that artists make for ALL that effort?"
