It has been almost 10 years that I begin taking photos. (Begin in end of 2006)

I still consider myself an newbie and has many aspect to explore and learn in photography. I would love to have more time to indulge in photography yet it is only a dream. Thus truely improvement is marginal. If anyone like my work, I will be happy. However if you want to use my work for any commercial use, please be prepared to offer payment. I do not entertain request for my work to be used free of charge. Even if I am a newbie, time still has to be spent to visit the place, to walk the ground and scout the location, to wait for the right time. Effort needs to be made to improve, read and constantly think how to get a better shot. All the effort prior to pressing the button behind the camera is not something I would like to get for free even if I do enjoy it.

Most of my shots are "learning shots" so please give feedback both positive and negative so that I can improve.

Other than a camera upgrade, I have still not immerse into photo editing. There is a couple of trials here and there but that is it.

At this moment, I am refraining from HDR (I did experiment with it and have a few of it in my streams) and concerntrating on using the camera. The only software I use now is PTGUI to stitch photos together to make it panorama. Other than that, I do not use any photo-editing software in all my shots except for cropping.

I have fallen in love with Japan many years ago and have visited it many times.

I particularly like the castles of Japan and my favorite is Matsumoto Jo.

There are 4 "great" castles standing today in Japan in it's original state. Matsumoto is one of them, the other 3 are

Inuyama Jo, Himeji Jo and Hikone Jo.

2011 update

End of this year will mark 5 years into photography and is still very much into it although progress have plateaued. Still very much in love with Japan and will continue to photograph Japan as much as I can.
