I am just opening my eyes to photography and I love it. I love capturing priceless moments of my family and of this world. I actually fell into photography by accident. I would snap pictures and never really thought of them as "good photography", like I said I love photographing my loved ones. And then all of a sudden lots of my loved ones would say, "great picture! You ever think about photography as a career?" I never really took it serious, just kinda felt flattered but never thought of it much. Then one day my ex-boss (who is also a photographer) had seen a slide show of some of my pictures and said, "HEY, who's pictures are those?" I was a little scared, didn't know if what was coming next was good or bad. So I answered that they were mine, I had taken them. To my relief he said, "Those are nice pictures, you really have an eye for photography. Ever think of it as a career?" So ever since then I've gain a bit of confidence and decided to try to spread my wings. Still really new to this world but willing to learn as much as I can.

As for my personal life, well, I am a very young (22) married mother of 4. And by 4 I mean ONE actual birth child, ONE husband who acts like a child at times and TWO furry kids, one of them a boxer and the other a bull terrier. I have dual citizenship, Mexican and American. I was born and raised in the lovely city of Austin TX. HOOK 'EM HORN!! I am fluent in both spanish and english. I love Mexico and miss visiting it every year. I am very family oriented. I love reading. Favorite color is ORANGE. I love jigsaw puzzles, and word search. Big fan of Where's Waldo. I love history. Went to school for accounting, didn't finish but plan on it. And I like meeting new people.

My little boy is Josiah, he is a miracle on two legs. He was born TEN weeks early (which is about two months) and now he is a perfectly healthy wild 4 year old! He steals a little peice of my heart every day.

My husband, Erik, is the love of my life, very supportive and loving, and super ambitious. But at times he can get a little full of himself and/or hardheaded but no one's perfect right? We've been married for 4 years as of July 2009 and still counting. We seem to always speed up our life as in we're a bit faster at getting to milestones than the average person.

Kora, my beautiful Boxer. She is 6 years old now, and is just the most loving dog. She causes no problems for me, therefore I call her "Mama's Angel". She is extremely melodramatic at time, I always tell her that if she were human she would've definitely been a soap opera actress.

And then there's Daddy........ Oh where do I start?? Well my husband, ever since he was a little boy, has ALWAYS wanted a Bull Terrier. So for our anniversary I surprised him w/ a very special gift, Daddy. Little did I know that this "cute puppy" was designed for destruction! He has no sense of personal space, everything he touches is his. He has OCD w/ licking and tearing up paper/plastic. He breaks down (or really tries to) ANY barrier by running into it w/ his head. In the kitchen he HAS to squeeze his fat self between you and the stove/cabinets/sink JUST to be there. He barks extremely loud continuely if he doesn't get his way the first time. He uses his long snout to knock things over on the coffee table, and I can swear he does this JUST to see me mad. Whe he hucklebutt's he destroys everything in his way, has LITERALLY knocked me off of my feet several times. He will hucklebutt into my room in the morning, jump on my bed and tail slap me numerous times. His farts are super deadly. He is the reason for most of my headaches, for the loss of my hair and sanity but he is also the one that makes me laugh to no end.....and he is cute. I hate to admit it, but it's true.

Overall I do love my crazy life and my imperfect chaotic family, so to have these memories forever I have decided to capture as much as I can and freeze it in time.
