I have always loved to create things with my hands, eyes and heart ever since I was a young child.

I have tried my hand at so many things creative, painting (I still have a box of stencils given to me back in the 1960's - again not quite sure where they are, oil paints etc, drawing, Lead Lighting, ceramics, card making, pottery, knitting, crochet, Glass bead making, PMC, Candle making, Soap Making, Copper Shim Pictures - (which is what I did for my major work for my Art School Certificate in 1972 and came in 1st place with 44 out of 50, which meant I didn't need too many marks in theory to obtain a pass mark.), Copper enameling, lino printing.

I joined the Australian Beading Forum in March 2011 and its one of the best things I have done. I have gained so much more in learning new skills. Since joining I have learn about Polymer Clay, Chain Maille, Viking Knit weave etc and am enjoying it so very much.
