I am a student at Polaris ELS currently taking Cree's photography class. I make movies for my company and am taking photography to expand my knowledge of this field. Photography is different but similar to film and by taking this class I hope to improve my skills.

When it comes to photos my eye is mostly drawn to images of landscape and people. Nature and the outdoors are a very strong interest of mine and naturally that interest follows into images of rivers and mountains or trees. I also have the tendency to observe the people around me. There is a mystery behind everyone and the unknown is very captivating. This reflects on my interest of people pictures because good photos of people show the blunt image but also the mystery.

I'm new to taking pictures so I will use any camera or gear I can find, however my personally owned camera is a Nikkon.

I don't have as many resources as I'd like but I believe my best photos come from ominous or mysterious images. Darker or more covered images are not only more pleasing to look at to me, but I have a better time shooting as well.
