Dear Jess, I think this testimonial is pretty overdue. I was going to wait till you finished your 365 but you don't post regularly anymore, so here goes nothing! I love watching you grow as a photographer everyday. Even though you don't post all of your 365's everyday to flickr, I still love going through your photos. Sometimes i'll find myself looking through your whole photostream. I'm amazed by every single photo. You have the ability to make such a simple photograph into a lot more. But you are so much more than a great, talented photographer. You were also the first friend I made on flickr. Jess is always so kind and supportive. I've rarely seen this girl in a bad mood. I always smile when I see that she's commented on something of mine (even when I don't think I deserve it). Never give up on what you love, and keep it up! Okay I think it's time I wrote this girl a testimonial. I've been following her work since she started photography... The time she showed me some of her stuff on DeviantArt, it was a while ago but I was really impressed! I was also really honoured that she would come to me to ask about her photography and constructive criticism and everything. Well I'm not going to lie but we all know that we start off with those nature-y point-and-shoot quality shots but I really admired her attitude for change and improvement. I also remember telling her to get Flickr and how she wouldn't ever but that's another story... ;) Then I guess I bugged her enough? Actually I didn't but she finally came on Flickr and I knew right away she was going to do some damage, especially when she announced that she'd start a 365! And I wasn't wrong at all. There is a kind of very positive energy about this girl through her photos and writing in the descriptions. I'll be honest with you - her brave attitude and how she started a 365 - that was really one of the big influences that pushed me to start one as well. Lately with her 20 secrets project, I was able to learn a bit more about Jessica and can I just say wow - right now I have so much respect for her and that's never going to change. I am completely honoured to have seen her drastic growth in photography the whole way and I have no doubt she will keep growing. Happy New Year!

I can tell a lot goes into every photo, as they all leak raw emotion, each in there own way. All the way down to your outtakes, all of your captures are original. You make photos your own. In addition, you are a wonderful contact that always leaves me a short note when my photos are feeling lonely.
