Charl Zero is currently a DJ in Cape Town, South Africa where he plays varied styles of music and specialises in commercial and electro house at various clubs and events.

Charl says: I enjoy an eclectic range of music from jazz and latin to ambient and lounge, electronica and indie rock. Ive played hip hop and house residencies and events in and around Cape Town ever since I arrived here in the 90s. I spent 3 years playing electro clash, 80s and hip hop at Joburg Bar in Long street, and I’ve played at Rhodes House, Opium, Marvel, Beulah, Bronx, Navigaytion and several more Cape Town venues.

After an almost 3 year residency as house DJ at Cruz, I played at the successful Juice parties at the Roosevelt, and continue to play at various events including Juicy and Underground Mix sessions at Zanzibar in Long street. I recently held a residency at Crew Bar for a year and often play at the annual MCQP parties.
