The french artist, Charlotte Parenteau-Denoël is a multifaceted artist who likes to play with codes and icons in her creations. Passionate about art history and design, the artist is inspired in her practice of contemporary photography by surrealist, conceptual and pop'art trends.

Her artistic universe reviews the many themes of contemporary society, such as the work entitled "Omniphone", which deals with the omnipresence of the mobile phone in our lives and which won her an award from the Institut National de l'Audiovisuel (INA).

The main thread of her artistic approach is the hijacking of objects and images as illustrated by her series "Omnifood", creative processes where she likes to break codes and preconceived ideas to question people while having fun experimenting with photography. All her contemporary photographs are "home-made".

No computer photomontage or photo tricks, it's all about imagination and ingenuity.
