While I am very pleased that you took time to look at a photo in my photostream, I would also like to actually hear from you. I will reply to an invitation to submit my photos to a group, but not to groups that will require me to:

Comment on X number of pictures

Invite X number of others to the group

and, Award X number of awards to maintain my membership in said group.

I want to feel free as to whether to post a comment to a picture I honestly like or not. Like you, I would hold a personal comment more than to receive a generic icon comment ... which means nothing because it has little real value.

Therefore, when I post a comment it is because I appreciate your work for its photographic skill and/or artistic expression. To all others, please don't feel offended in any way.
