hmmm...chamina, what can i say..its not that i have nothing much to say and hence that "hmmm"..but rather i have so much and i am wondering which ones to say first. I first got to know chamina when she had commented on one of my "veddha" pics.. and ever since then she and i have been in constant touch through our photographs, but more recently she was generous enough to gift me with my pro account, something for which i am ever thankful for. (not for the magnitude of the gesture, but the big heart she had to gift a then virtual stranger with such a gift) ,and what i find hard to understand is that she knew a lecturer of mine and somehow got to know that he knew me, made me thouroughly realise the phrase "its a small world". Chamina is a brilliantly vivacious character amalgamated with an utmost passion for knowledge, i have never met her, but her photographs and the several emails we have exchanged precisely epitomise this fact. a person with multi faceted talents and an ever charming smile, a very humble and down to earth person for a someone who has achieved a lot in such a short period of time. Keep that smile on chamina,it talks volumes abt ur wit,grit,knowledge and friendly nature. I cant wait myself for that day,when hopefully we can discuss moorish spain and architecture over a cup of sri lankan tea :) all the very best.

Well I guess its time for me to write something! I met Chamina near the end of last year at flickr. Soon we ended up having a hearty lunch in London talking about Sri Lanka and photography. Chamina's photo stream is really interesting as it is colourful and diverse, which is why I like it the most! She is an extremely friendly person, a very good listener :), have the prettiest smile that can make someone feel alive! I'm serious :-), Also when she starts laughing it will go on for ages! I've known Chamina only for few months and I wish I met her before as she is a great friend to have beside you to have a good time.
