Hi! I'm a fabric addict who likes to sew stuff. I have a gorgeous sewing room which is somewhat wasted on me since sewing time is so limited. Most of my sewing tends to be by hand watching the kids at swimming lessons, or waiting for school pickup.

I like to make quilts, both big and small, quilting bee blocks, dresses for my daughter and I really love to stitch/embroider.

If you happen to be making something for me, I can tell you that I love bright colours, solids, almost anything with grey, modern Japanese fabrics, and palettes of just a couple of colours (red/aqua, yellow/grey, raspberry/grey/lime and purple/yellow a la Saffron Craig). My favourite designer of all time would be Heather Ross, closely followed by Denyse Schmidt (Greenfield Hill excepted). I'm also a big fan of AMH's earlier lines like Bohemian and also Good Folks.

I like traditional quilt patterns done in modern fabrics, and new modern quilting designs. Somewhere for the eye to 'rest' is nice and symmetry is ideal! ( I'm very prone to motion sickness....I like my world to be still, smooth, even and just right :-)). I don't mind a little bit of 'wonk' though; a little 'drunk' is nice.

And if you do happen to be making something for me, please don't stress! There's not much in modern quilting that I don't love. It's just delightful that you'd spend your time working on something for me. Thank you!
