I moved to San Diego in 2003 after college, originally from Ohio. Most of my professional career has been spent working in the management consulting industry with a stint in the US Marine Corps (an exceptional experience!).

I've become more serious about photography in the last couple years. I love to take pictures around Balboa Park and downtown but also enjoying exploring San Diego county as the area seems to provide nearly any imaginable environment for a photographer to shoot. Enjoy taking pictures of landscapes, portraits, HDR, wildlife, and just now getting up to speed on macro photography.

Also, I'm a volunteer with A.R.T.S. (A Reason to Survive) San Diego. Using photography as a therapeutic medium to create positive, long-lasting change in the lives of children of active duty military families facing major life challenges.
