Exposing Florida Nature and Wildlife Photography by: Chad Anderson

I was born in St. Petersburg and am a seventh generation Floridian. The rapid development of Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas pushed me toward a career in environmental science, and eventually photography. After years of kayaking and hiking the natural preserves of the state from the panhandle to the keys, I decided to bring a camera along, and a passion grew instantly. While working in the field of conservation biology, I traverse the state and exploring the unique splendors that exist even in the most urbanized areas of Florida. Frame by frame, I seek to expose the beautiful land my ancestors’ first laid their eyes upon so that my photos might also inspire others to experience and preserve the richness that still remains in this diverse, unique, and awe-inspiring state. I am the administrator and creator of the Florida Conservation Photographers
