Creating an exquisite meal or a well balanced design often come down to the same thing. Preparation and preplanning are key. Gathering all of your ingredients, throwing in a dollop of knowledge, a pinch of experience, and tossing it all over a creative flame until golden brown.

OK, that's all the food puns I am going to use, I almost promise. Before I went to design school I was a professional cook for about 10 years. The similarities can be striking on occasion. Over the years I have found that the closer my professional work aligns with my personal passions the sweeter the final product often tastes (oops, sorry).
