My family and I live in Northwest Georgia in a town called Dalton. My wife Sarah and I have three children. One son in college at Georgia Tech, another son is a junior in high school and my daughter is in the 3rd grade. Family drew me to this small town, but the mountains and all the outdoor opportunities keep me here. I am only minutes away from the best hiking, mountain biking trail in the South, the Georgia Pinhoti Trail System.

I work as a systems engineer during the day and when I am not working I am out on the trails with my friends, family and my dog Piper.

In addition to my hobby of gardening, mountain biking, hiking, I love to take pictures. Some are good and some not so good, but they serve my purpose. The pictures allow me to relive the moment when I took the photo. Also, they allow me to share the experience with others and hopefully encourage them to experience the outdoors for themselves.
