I fell in love with photography around the age of ten when I was a regular member of the local Camera Club, in those days, men used to gather in darkened rooms to view a presentation of the holiday slides of other members and admire their latest cameras over a cup of tea!

I made the move to London at the age of 19, taking up on an offer from Terence Conran to join the Habitat Design Group. Early work involved the design of packaging, fabrics and graphics for the ever expanding Habitat retail chain of stores, later I moved on to the design and art direction of Habitat catalogues and was given the job of producing the first catalogue for Habitat France, working with many renowned photographers of the day.
