I live on the north west edge of Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England.

My photos are taken with either a Canon 5D MkIV or on my Sony RX-100 IV that I have purchased as a decent point and shoot and will use mostly in programme mode, keeping the manual work for the Canon.

My main areas of photography are landscapes, architecture, industry, macro and catching things very much of the moment.

Areas that I am developing an interest in are light painting and astro photography.

I am a founder member of Wear Valley Photographic Club.

I work as an administrator for the NIHR Clinical Research Network Coordinating Centre and am employed by the University of Leeds, but based in Newcastle.

I am married and live with my husband and our chocolate Labrador, Henry.

My other hobbies are food and wine (I have a Cordon Bleu Grand Diploma), gardening, walking, reading and various genres of music.
