Tanya Casteel is a full-time illustrator and author in North Carolina. She studied photography and pottery at the Maine College of Art in Portland, Maine, and has a Masters in teaching from the University of Southern Maine. She is a past Regional Emerging Artist in Resident at Artspace in North Carolina, and a recipient of a NC United Arts Council Grant.
