Centre for Stewardship
Drag to set position!
Falkland Centre for Stewardship exists to promote the practice of stewardship locally and the philosophy of stewardship in 21st century Scotland and beyond.
We understand stewardship as the act and art of holding, nurturing and vitalising assets for others – including the next generation. The asset in question may be an organisation, a tradition, a building, a landscape, or at the highest level the planet’s natural resources and ecosystem.
For us stewardship is about responsible, long-term management. Good stewards draw from the past, mind the future and always look beyond themselves.
Falkland Centre for Stewardship is responsible for the care and revival of the Grade A House of Falkland with its arts and crafts interiors and designed landscape.
We also work with others to promote the concept, relevance and practical application of stewardship, locally and globally.
