Established in 2008, CEMBI–The Caribbean Environmental Management Bureau / "Cembi" – trade name and acronym pronounced ā€œsem-BEE,ā€ provides assistance in matters related to "Thematic Clusters of Sustainable Development as listed by the United Nations - (sustainabledevelopment.un.org/index.php?menu=1565). We offer project conceptualization, implementation, budget management, data analysis and training with stakeholders; towards Sustainable Development Goals and best practices.

  

CEMBI’s main objectives are to help various businesses and communities become more efficient as it relates to resource economics in general; produce useful systems through research and analysis; enhance necessary skills via training to achieve set goals and thus increase the marketability of companies and by extension host countries.

Our Team:

 

Within the CEMBI team, there is sound knowledge in a wide range of natural resource and environmental management issues including coastal and marine resource management, general natural resource management, climate change, pollution control, sustainable tourism, diaster risk reduction and health; complemented by expertise in project management, environmental law, information communications technology (ICT), behavioural change, public awareness and education. The team comprises of independent consultants.
