"Welcome to my flickr photostream"

Amateur enthusiast photographer based in South Devon uk, originally from West Dulwich South East London, enjoying my life here in the South Hams over the past 23 years.

I have always taken a keen interest in photography using numerous 35mm film cameras back in the day with my first Digi camera being a Canon compact with a whopping 3.2 megapixels (around the time I joined flickr) then moving up to a Fujifilm bridge camera.

I found my enthusiasm for making images renewed when I purchased my first Nikon dslr kit around 2010.

Since then, I have upgraded my kit new and used, always sticking with Nikon as my main go to camera -so a bit of a "Nikon Fanboy" you could say, and still using my two dslr bodies, although I am looking at slowly moving over to the mirrorless Z sytem in the near future.

My photography interest over the years has mostly been landscape, and living here in beautiful Devon has certainly helped with my passion for outdoor photography offering a stunning canvas to work with.

Over the UK lockdown I began my new adventure with the camera: Nature/Wildlife and a new passion in my life also followed, going hand in hand with my photography, "Birding" which I have found to be an enjoyable tonic for my well-being.

Now a "Devon Wildlife Trust" and RSPB member.

It has been an interesting journey so far and one that has taken me out and about getting to know Devon a little more intimately- especially around my home patch the South Hams.

Update 2022 ... Now also using the Olympus OM System OM-1 Micro Four Thirds kit alongside my Nikon dslr cameras.

Update 2025 ... Now fully moved over from my dslr kit to the Nikon-Nikkor Z mirrorless system alongside the Olympus OM kit. (no regrets I must say but pleased I stubbornly waited a good few years before I made the move)
