CedaCash aka Cash The Punchline Champion was born September 12th, 1982 in Philadelphia, PA. Discovering his gift for music at the age of 12, he would soon take it to a level no one else would go. He started out as rapping during school lunches breaks and recesses with his friends, but By the age of 19, he was winning battles spitting punchline after punchline to annihilate his opponents.
After a short stint in prison at the age of 20-21 in 2003 for felony firearm and assualt charges, he was released and immediately vowed to change his lifestyle. He was signed to and independent label in Philly known as Larue Records. With Larue Records, he made three mixtapes entitled “Cash: The Mixtape”, “Cash Demo Project”, and “World Premiere” and has worked in the well known studio The Beat factory under Super Producer JStrong. B.I. Supreme, Laythoven, Block Boys, and Raina are some of the artist he has worked with.
Things would not last though, after the collapse of the label, Cedacash has been working with various talents all over the Philly tri-state. Prominent artist such as Freck Billionaire, Young Hot, Big Hurt (Houston, TX), Tex-T (Houston, TX) Rob Lee (Detroit/Hawaii) and Dj Bey are a few to name. He is now 27, unsigned, determined to make a breakthrough, and his mind is set on making it to the top. What sets CedaCash apart from everyone is that fact that he is lyrically unstoppable, and also very versatile. He can take any idea and make it to a hot song, no matter if its a club track, anthem, or battle rap, to stories that give you the chills, and love songs that make you want to spend your night b the fireplace with your counterpart.
Performing frequently in club venues such as Club Pyramid in NYC, Club Solo in Philly, Club Fiso in Philly and etc, he has repeatedly proven that his performance style is a force to be reckoned with. He has networked with many well known names such as Mental Supreme (Training Camp), Jennifer Oneal (TVT Records), Bryan Leach (Polo Ground Music Group/JRecords Sr. VP) and many more. Even though he has been compared many times to Big L, Notorious BIG, LL Cool J, Jay-Z, Nas, and Fabolous, he brings an essence not seen or felt ever, that is why he is destined for greatness.
