Much of my photography has been inspired by things I have seen and done on my overseas travels. There is a distinct bias towards wildlife images because my trips abroad often take me to places where the wildlife is truly wild - I also do quite a bit of fishing along the way!

I very much enjoy meeting people from different cultures on my travels but I also enjoy wilderness areas and I really do believe "the human spirit needs places where nature has not been rearranged by the hand of man". I suppose that is why I prefer to take photographs of wildlife in the wild and why I hope my images and descriptions reflect what I have seen and where I have been.
