I am a married mother of three grown boys. I am still just exploring photography, as I did take some time away from it. I had back surgery in September 2012, have moved into the country, began riding horses again in 2014, and now own four horses. Dressage is my main riding discipline, but I am in the early stages of branching out into jumoing and eventing.

I am also back to work on my graphic design degree, aiming for an associate degree for now, and will work towards my bachelor's after that.

I got into photography as a child, when I received a camera for my 8th grade graduation. I was in Photo Club in high school, and have never been without a camera for more than a few weeks. In the last few years I started getting serious about photography, but for the most part, I just pretty much "wing" it, and don't follow too many rules. I have found that some of my favorite photos have been taken when I wasn't thinking about the rules, and just going with the feeling.

I consider photography a constantly evolving journey that really has no end or destination.
