Lived multiple places in Colorado. Finished climbing all the 14ers in 2000, as well as countless other peaks and hikes in the state. The "call" of nature photography began with the chronicling of those climbs, then very quickly became a passion. That passion is also an extension of the willingness (to go just about anywhere) to get a particular shot....and at any given time. There's nothing I enjoy more than traveling around Colorado (and the rest of the Intermountain West) and capturing something representative of the area. I shoot primarily to fulfill that personal sense of artistic expression, but when a particular photo resonates with someone else in a similar fashion.....it's icing on the cake.
