I'm a fifty plus father with a wonderful wife and two lovely girls.

I have taken photography much more seriously since getting a canon 40D and now a 6D.

My main interests are :

Athletics

I compete for Collingwood Harriers and Collingwood Masters. I most enjoy pole vault, middle distance, high jump and decathlons.

Astronomy

I am a member of the Astronomical Society of Victoria and own several telescopes. I have an interest in astrophotography, but I'm not very good at it.

Camping and outdoor activities

We have a camper trailer and enjoy many trips away during the year. I enjoy XC skiing, gold detecting and hiking.

Macrophotography

This has been great fun and an area I hope to explore further.
