I'm not a photographer. I have a camera, but photography is neither my profession nor even my hobby. I don't even take very good pictures. I'm sure you noticed. I started skulking around flickr to look at all the really cool photos from all the interesting people who actually are good photographers--then my personal pictures immigrated here with the death of Yahoo Photos. Good for me. I've recently begun digitizing about 20 years worth of 35mm snapshots and putting some of those up here--which is why you see pictures of last weekend mixed in with the fourth of July balloon festival in Driggs, Idaho circa 1991. If you happen to recognize me or anyone else from the old days, drop me some flickr mail.

What? You expected an artist's statement? Most of the time I take my pictures with the camera on full auto and I don't even fully understand what photoshop is.
