I work with some avid photographers, Dextr and *Mike. A few years ago they got me in to photography when each went out an bought a Canon S70. A few months later, at the dismay of my wife, they upgraded to DSLR's (Canon something or another and a Nikon D70s). A few months later I ended up following suit and upgraded to a D70s.

I shot with the D70s for about 2 years and loved it! I finally found a hobby that was expensive and time consuming!

Nikon came out with the D300 and both Dextr and I started to drool over it, reading every review possible and dreaming more than working. One day I was home sick and pulled the trigger, I emailed Dextr and pushed him over the edge to order one. Needless to say, I'm beyond happy with the D300.

I continue to learn and love the hobby. I take pictures for my friends and family for fun and they love it. I'm like a personal paparazzo.
