Started photography at age of about 12 while at school - father was interested so was I. First camera Zeiss Ikon 16 shots on 120 film, vintage 1930s. Was great when I had school darkroom; but moved to slides after leaving school; using various cameras through to OM1 & OM2.

Used technical photography a little in my work in the paper industry, including ultra high speed movie for capturing short fast occurring events, but always frustrated by the delay in seeing results and the consequent difficulties in learning from experience.

Digital was a reawakening. The ability to tune the picture while in the field and on the computer really suits me. Interested in landscape, travel, nature and improving my technique.
