Checkerboard

Our goal is to provide you with the very best stationery and service.

Exquisite design...

Our innovative artists have earned many industry accolades for their outstanding design. Their endless pursuit of artistic excellence results in the most original and creative invitations. Our collections are inspired by the spirit of celebration, family, incredible life events and the excitement our clients wish to convey to each guest.

Superb materials...

Our luxurious, extra-thick papers are made with the highest quality wood fibers and are acid-free for archival quality. Many of these papers are custom-made to our specifications and feature a special finish for printing and fine calligraphy. We also select the finest imported papers made in old world Italian mills established in the 1400’s.

Workmanship above all else...

Our refined in-house production process ensures a perfect product. From the submission of your order, your information is entered twice, by two different typography specialists, for accuracy. We do not print different pieces of an order separately. At Checkerboard your entire order is printed from beginning to end by a single craftsperson on a single press. Our production procedures assure high quality and a perfect color match from piece to piece. Our invitations are all proudly handmade in West Boylston, Massachusetts. Each layer of paper, ribbon or applique is hand fastened. We take great pride in every invitation that you send to your guests.

Keeping local...

We proudly create all of our invitations and stationery by hand in our family owned building in West Boylston, Massachusetts, right here in the USA.
