To me, photography isn't just about sharp images or pixel peeping; it's about storytelling, conveying an emotion, and capturing spontaneous moments. It's a form of art.

Artists begin with a blank canvas and use paint to create a painting. Photographers begin with an image and use the camera and lens to frame what they want to see. This ability to isolate an interesting, spontaneous moment of life into this frame is what I strive for in my photography.
