1) Please do not ask me to trade or sell my BrickArms. Many of them are gifts and I will block the more obnoxious requests without warning..
2) Please do not tag me in photos in which I do not actually appear--e.g. for tagging games, etc. It confuses people and defeats the purpose of tagging a photo with a person. If you want to call my attention to a photo, just send me a FM with the link. For the same reason, please do not add yourself to my photos unless you personally appear in one. I know some people like to have, say, a picture of a cool minifig show up when others look for photos of them, but not on my photos, please.
3) If you add me as a contact and I don't add you back--or I remove you later--it's not personal, I'm just keeping my contact list manageable so that I don't miss things. Similarly, don't read too much into whether or not I mark you as a friend: Flickr has an extremely weak set of access controls, and I use the Friends category in lieu of this for private stuff that I still need to be able to show to someone.
4) If you're one of those people who trolls Explore and spams meaningless boilerplate comments just to get exposure for your own photostream, I will block you without hesitation--especially if you embed widgets or advertise your photos in your comment. Go spam someone else.
I'm a Mid-30's AFOL who shares a house with my partner, stepson, a roommate and one old cat. I also share the house with my Lego collection, which is large enough that it ought to be paying rent rather than vying for it. Said collection numbers easily in 6 digits and occupies three floor-to-ceiling Ikea bookshelves worth of bins, along with more than a hundred Pick-a-Brick cups. I actually don't have enough storage to sort them all out, and as a consequence I tend to leave my WIPs intact and scavenge parts from them as need be.
I'm pretty much genetically incapable of keeping my work area organized, which means that it's usually covered with an inch-thick layer of discarded Lego parts. I get ideas constantly but have a hard time finishing MOCs--so if you see a WIP I haven't updated in a long time, don't be shy about adding a comment. It's usually because of real life commitments (like my job or family) and there's a good chance the WIP has been cannibalized, but sometimes I just got bored or stuck with it and getting a nudge from someone can remind me it's there or inspire me to finish.
I own a number of systems at a major e-commerce site, so my job has a tendency to eat me without notice.
I used to have a list of projects here, but it becomes outdated too quickly.
