Cathy is rediscovering her love of art after 30 years of teaching elementary school in Moose Jaw. A passion for portraiture and beautiful landscapes are all beckoning her to retreat to her studio and create in watercolour, pastel, pencil and acryllic. Occasionally, Cathy enjoys a diversion of the above topics in her caricature drawings . This talent has given Cathy opportunities to sketch hundreds of people over the years at venues such as Park Art and Regina and Moose Jaw craft shows. This has enabled Cathy to become more skilled in her portrait art. There is always so much to learn about drawing faces, and this is an area that Cathy hopes to develop.
