The photos shared on Flickr have been taken in Turkey over the past 15 years. I have been custom shopping in Istanbul for antique and old carpets and textiles for clients for residential purposes and also for some collectors of old and antique carpets and textiles. I have co-hosted Carpet/Textile/Historical tours in Turkey along with my husband and a historical guide for the past few years. We are introducing guests to the visual and tactile delights of rugs and textiles and of course the historical sites of that diverse country.

I love to have my camera out and see what images I can capture, be it documenting carpets that are available for purchase for my clients, to life on the streets of the busy city or the small villages. My passions are colour, design, history and people.
