Photography is my way of reclaiming my personal space and creative independence, after a long career in nursing and bringing up and supporting a creative family!

In 2011, I won ‘The Photomonth Assignment’ prize, which was run as part of the 'London Street Photography Festival', with a series of long exposure photos of the Greenwich Foot Tunnel under the Thames.

In 2015, I took part in the 'Surprise St Paul's' photography event at St Paul's Cathedral and won the best photo prize, with an image of a chandelier.

In 2017, I was shortlisted in the architecture category for the Picfair 'Women Behind the Lens ' exhibition held at the Guardian newspaper foyer in London, celebrating women in photography.

In 2017, I was shortlisted in the amateur category for the 'Event Photography Awards'.

I am a huge live music fan and recently have been developing my skills in music photography and also dance performance .
