After many years of mostly taking snapshots - but always having a camera handy - I became more serious about photography when I first got a digital camera. I'm now on my 6th digital camera and love using my Olympus OM-1. Digital photography opened up a whole new world for me. I especially enjoy taking my camera on hikes and explorations.

I'm always impressed with the photographs that I see on Flickr. I love that other people's pictures inspire me.
