I've been interesting in taking up photography for a while really. I study Forensic Science and in my first year I took a module in forensic photography which was my first experience of using a DSLR. I really enjoyed it so bought a Nikon D60 to play around with. After a while I wanted to be able to use some features that the D60 didn't have such as bracketing to experiment with HDR and I also wanted a camera with an internal motor so on my student budget I opted for the D80.

I haven't been taking nearly as many pictures as I'd like as my course is quite demanding but I have so many ideas I'd like to try when I find the time!
