If you've taken a moment to look through this collection you'll realise it's a bizarre mix of postcard travel snaps, semi-'artistic' photography (one can but live in hope!), favourite moments and just things that took my fancy. Up until recently it's mainly been just a way for distant friends and family to see what I've been up to while I'm travelling, a way of sharing how I see things and also a means by which to get feedback so I can learn. Now that my photography is slowly developing, I'll be trying to cull my stream to my best or favourite images, but that's time permitting! Any feedback and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
Just starting (2010) a Photoimaging course at CIT.
For those curious about my choice of screen name, here is the photo that provided my inspiration when casting around for choices - I looked up and this is what I saw.
(2008: the original cat on the exercise bike is no longer mine, but a new kitten has come to take her rightful place
Please note that my photos are copyrighted "All Rights Reserved". While I retain exclusive rights, it is possible I may allow selective use of my work to people who express interest, but you must have my express written permission to do so. I will consider images for licensing and purchase.
The same goes for blogging - in most cases I am happy to allow display of my work on your site, providing it is linked back to the original photo and notice provided that I am the photographer, but I do require you to ask permission to do so, as I may object to the content of the site. I always appreciate it when people take the time to let me know what they've done - not only is it a simple courtesy, but it's nice to see what people do with it, how it looks on their site :)
At this stage, as I am having too much to juggle with my time, please do not be offended if I do not accept invitations to join groups (I'm sure they're fantastic and fun!) or do not make you a contact - as much as possible I like to take the time and visit everyone's streams, leaving comments and returning favours, but sheer volume is taking it's toll!

Nico has the amazing ability to photograph cats at their natural and comical best. I kid you not! Her other photographs also resonate with nostalgia -- even if viewers have not been to the very places she has caught on film or sensor, the emotion of once being there is palpable in her images.
