I spend my time dreaming about and working with yarn as a weaver, spinner, and goat tender. Even if I'm doing the things that take up the rest of my life--skiing, swimming, commuting, cooking, consuming entertainment, providing the cat a lap, earning a living--pondering the possibilities of yarn is always on my mind. My day job is as the Sales and Marketing Director of Schacht Spindle Company. I am the author of Weaving Made Easy and co-host of Knitting Daily TV on PBS for its first three seasons as well as past president of the Spinning and Weaving Association and Managing Editor of Handwoven and Spin-Off magazine. I am totally down with fiber.
