Hi, my name is Casey and I created this profile to document and share my journey along the route of learning the art of photography.

I've had an interest in taking pictures for many, many years using basic point and shoot digital cameras and while this satisfied me to a degree, I always wanted to, but never had the means of getting into shooting with DSLR.

For many years I dropped my aspiration until my uncle gifted me

an old Nikon D40 with a 18-55mm kit lens and a DX 55-200mm. In the age of YouTube and the ease at which great information and guidance is available, I am slowly building up my knowledge and practicing my skills in shooting every single day, in no matter what conditions and editing later into the night than I maybe should do!

You'll find a mixture of stuff here, but my main interests are: landscape, urban/architectural and wildlife photography.
