Caroline was born in Curaçao, Dutch Caribbean, but at first only lived there as a baby. She grew up in The Netherlands, Germany and France, but decided to relocate to her beloved native country. She lives on dushi Kòrsou since March 2010.
After having many handicraft hobbies, including sewing, quilting, upholstery, painting and making dollhouses, which resulted in having her own doll house shop for adults for a while, she was introduced to the world of photography in 2002.
Uploading her photos to www.flickr.com broadened her views on different styles and techniques substantially. The bug of photography caught her and she started attending evening classes and later signed up for a professional photography course at the Fotovakschool in Amsterdam where she studied photography for 2 years.
She now is a professional freelance photographer and she has a variety of skills of which photography of portraits, weddings, real estate, atmosphere and architecture are being her main focus.
But she likes to look outside the box, so she can be hired for events, graduations, baptisms, communions, choirs, kids/pool/beach/bbq parties, company face books, pregnant bellies, newborn babies, 1st-111th birthday parties........
