Once upon a time I was a history teacher but I gave up to look after my own kids.

I have had no formal training in photography and would not describe myself as artistic or creative but I'm told I have a good eye- well I know what I like when I see it and I guess I can apply that to a viewfinder!

I'm self taught. It's been a steep learning curve and I can't even see the peak yet but I'm really enjoying the ride.

And Flickr has been one of the best parts of that ride - supportive comments, location tips, constructive criticism and daily inspiration. Flickr has to be the most positive social media I have ever been a part of- thank you for that my Flickr friends.
