Some may know me as "Mrs Lens Buddy" having been given credit for a few shots on Lens Buddys' flickr page.

I have been carrying lenses and tripods around for "Lens Buddy" for more years than I care to remember. Then a few years ago I started to snap a few shots on his redundant EOS 20D and much to his surprise, captured some good results (some of which he even put on his own flickr pages) Now I have adopted his old EOS 30D, a couple of lenses (Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 and Canon EFS 17-85mm) and a few accessories of my own. Much to his disgust, now he has to carry his own equipment around and I carry mine!

I enjoy taking a few shots of my own wherever we go and I love to wind him up when I get a better picture than he got or "the one that he didn't even spot." Then he reminds me that the 30D always took a good picture!!!

We enjoy the bit of competition and banter and it makes us both work harder to improve our photography.

See what you think ... I hope you enjoy my photo's and I look forward to reading your comments and in turn taking a look at yours ...

Sadly...

Carol Wewerka, my wife died on holiday in Tenerife on 4th April 2016. She was taken into hospital the day before her 50th Birthday and finally passed away four and a half weeks later.

She passed away peacefully whilst in an induced coma due to severe Pneumonia.

I miss her so very much and hope that the memory of her lasts forever through her pictures here on flickr.

Her loving husband,

Ken Wewerka

(AKA: Lens Buddy)
