I'm a birder first and photographer second. By that I mean that I will not do anything for the perfect photo. Viewing birds ethically and minimizing disturbance for a view or a photograph is uppermost to me. I do, however, enjoy my photography for its aesthetics and for what it helps me learn about birds.
