J'aime votre approche sensible du réel sous ses formes les plus subtiles... La photo ne parle pas d'elle même, c'est l'objet intercepté qui parle si l'on sait l'entendre son histoire ...

Amazed by your consistency in your portfolio. It is easy to judge simplicity but to see the details and keep on finding new territory is asking a lot of devotion. This is not easy with the world of distraction. Compliments!

Carol is a real artist, and her stream continually serves as a refuge for me on Flickr. She presents a singular vision that continues to inspire me. I often cannot come up with words to comment on her images and simply choose to favorite them instead. I probably have more favorites of her images than any photographer on Flickr, and yet coming back time and a gain I am surprised by her ability to continually produce such profoundly moving work.

Carol is absolutely amazing. These look less like photographs and more like paintings. Really well done paintings. One minute, her work looks like a brilliant Impressionist landscape, in the next breath, its a beautiful example of Abstract Expressionism. But always flawlessly done and wonderfully delivered. Perfect compositions, flow, textures, and tones. A rare treat to see, indeed. Suffice to say, one of my favorite photographers ever. EVER!

Discovering Carol's photography was a joyous revelation. As a body of work, it represents, to me, among the most mature and aesthetic on all of Flickr. She seems to be continually striving for the essence of using her camera to paint with light and color. Her eye is disciplined to discover meticulous abstract expressionist compositions in seemingly random locales. Working in the vein, and on the level of Alfred Steiglitz, who said that his photographs were "not due to subject matter," Carol has created and continues to create superlative "equivalents." Her work is inspiring as it is impressive. Thank you for sharing it here.

carol gives new eye to the discarded and overlooked - the junk metal, the weeds, the ground, the rusting and abused - and makes me want to re-examine it with admiration and laughter. carol gives new eye to the discarded and overlooked - the junk metal, the weeds, the ground, the rusting and abused - and makes me want to re-examine it with admiration and laughter. She can take a huge iron piece of machinery and show us the delicate scratches and undercoats and webs of texture and color, and make it somehow useful again. I don't need to know her to love her for her vision and creativity. when someone inspires you the way she does, both of us are blessed.

A rare eye for the meticulous details found in otherwise ignored textural landscapes, Carol brings life and mood to these forgotten surfaces.
