I got bitten by the photography (and wanderlust) bug when I was 8 years old and my godparents gifted me a camera for a trip to Disney World. I never stopped shooting, learning, discovering and improving since.

I love a good b&w and don’t understand why people fear flare and noise. I find they both add character. Many iconic images are technically imperfect and they inspire nonetheless. I hope to inspire some of you like some of you inspire me.

I shoot mostly when I travel, which I do often, both for business and for fun. I love Flickr for the inspiration I find in others’ photographers work. When I was shooting film, I was renowned for the rolls of exposed but unprocessed film I had lying around. I did not have a darkroom and leaving the processing to third parties felt… wrong. The act of taking the picture was bringing me more pleasure than showing something someone else processed. Lightroom changed all of that.
