carmymacmusicphotos etc...

hello, i'm carmymac. i used to take music photos for fun, jumping around between the uk (leeds mostly), iceland and the netherlands. maybe some other places too (pretty sure there was one swiss gig and festivals in norway and sweden).

my photos have been published in music magazines (artrocker, sandman, nme, fact magazine, vibrations), newspapers (the guardian, metro) and on various websites including leedsmusicscene.net, drownedinsound.com, mtvu.com and bbc.co.uk/leeds.

i've also had my photos included in an artrocker magazine (music) photo exhibition in london, uk in 2006 (artrocker link here; the exhibition website long since disappeared) and in a unique (non-music) exhibition in lausanne, switzerland in 2007 (info here). also, more recently i had a photo in an exhibition at the 'urban explorers festival' in dordrecht, holland in 2010 (link here).

these albums are mainly gig photography and a couple of band promo shoots too. there’s also a few personal albums covering trips to friends and family around the world.

i don't have any musical abilities myself, although i did sing in the choir on the iliketrains song 'the beeching report' and i do want to play the glockenspiel on stage with a band for one night only. (edit: this dream came true!! see some pics here).
