I'm a Chicano working out of Chicago, Illinois. As a first-generation college student it's difficult to pursue art as a career. It would scare my parents to know I sought art as a career.

For this reason, I've had to find a liminal space and balance my education and art, I work heavily within photography, film theory and also in the implementation of both.

I consider myself an amateur photographer. I'm currently working on a website (www.carlosjimenezworks.com) and will soon start doing pro bono work! Let me know if you are interested.
