I bought my first digital SLR camera in the fall of 2007. It was a Canon 40D. A big, beautiful, expensive digital camera. Shortly thereafter I was reading everything I could about photography. Learning about photography traditionally involves learning to shoot, develop, and print black and white film. I just had to give it a go so I bought my second camera- a 1937 Leica IIIa. That camera is a thing of beauty.

I love classic cameras. I love all cameras. I have ten of them now and many lenses. I have even customized and fixed some of them.

Photography is just a hobby for now, but I'm passionate and I intend to make interesting photographs.
