As long as I can remember, I've always been nostalgic and concerned with the passing of time. I was always conscious of the way it passes us by without stopping for anyone. A photograph freezes time and preserves a moment for eternity. That’s what I love about photography. Tony Murphy, who lives in Cornameeltha, Boyle, played a special role in my passion for taking photos. It was his photography and guidance through the Boyle camera club back in the mid 2000's that inspired me to take things more seriously.
I'm a native of Boyle, Co. Roscommon in Ireland but I’ve spent the last few years (2013 to 2020) travelling to 72 countries where I focused on documentary/street photography primarily. Those adventures were put on hold in early 2020 when Covid hit. Since then I've been photographing my hometown of Boyle as well as other parts of Ireland. I'm an IAA certified Drone Pilot, which has allowed me to take my photography to the skies.
